Hmmm - got me thinking. I spend the vast majority of the time with my ele. My baby warrior gets out and about as well. Maybe it's time to revive my 2 year old mesmer or finally get my ranger to lvl 20......

You're going to regret it when 3rd birthday minipets come out. Thats the only reason why I havent deleted all my other characters is for the minipets.

These days I only play on my Ritualist and my Elementalist, mainly the Ritualist though. But I would not delete my Ranger, Necro, Dervish or Warrior, because I might suddenly realize I need them.

I've contemplated a second account myself. Wasn't sure if it was worth it.

I Purged my account when i bought factions - which was quite recently, I deleted a Lvl 20 ranger with about 4 armour sets, a Lvl 20 Monk, My Warrior with 15k sunspear, my Survivor Necro - who lost her title at rank 1 -.-' ( Dc'ing and Grasps FTL! ) and my amazing Assasin with amazing weps and black armour... yus... I made a Rit and Loved him ... completed factions but got kinda bored... Made a Dervish... a Ranger ... And a para ... so basicaly im back to where i was ! Might delete some chars... not sure =/

Ranger, Ele, Monk collecting dust.
Recently deleted my 1 year old dervish.
I'm playing my warrior now 7/8 of the time. Bought him some fow armor, some nice equipment and i'm really enjoying playing him although he is already about 27 months old.
I'm one of these persons who would become paranoid and whatever if i have to bring more than 2 chars through a chapter. I just can't do it...

I once did that.
To be honest I'm contemplating it right now. I started to work my ele through EotN, but stopped, realizing that I don't like any of the ele stuff there. Started bringing my warrior through instead, but got bored of hack/slashing. So now I'm undecided on what to do. I no longer have a character of my favorite profession (Ranger), but to start one would mean I'd almost certainly have to strip one or some of my other characters to be able to afford stuff for it. So I was just thinking of stripping my chars, deleting them, and making a ranger...and taking it through all the campaigns. Of course...that would mean deleting a legendary survivor warrior with Vabbian armor. >.> So I dunno. :/

I can't see myself wiping my entire account that way. I have removed characters at one time or another. Most recently was a lvl 3 rit that was almost a year old. I got completely sidetracked with other characters and never did anything with her. So when I decided I needed some experience with rits and more skills unlocked for my rit heroes I went back. Didn't like the way she looked so I wiped her and made a new character with the same name, but a different face and hairdo.
I find myself playing different characters in different classes in different campaigns, just to make sure I don't get tired of playing the same one every day. Kinda fun having to shift gears constantly and deciding which to advance to other chapters or GW:EN.

Must. Resist. Urge. *fingers twitch*
I have 8 PVE chars. No main char, but this week I resolved to choose one as my main. So far the contenders are my Necro and my Ranger.

My ranger, ele, and monk became my main chars. I deleted everything else for PvP slots before gwen came out as these are the only chars I ever play anymore.

I go on a character creation spree every ~2 weeks, and sometimes I feel it'd be nicer to concentrate on only one character. Maybe if I'll get that first r3 Survivor I might focus on him more.
Must resist the urge to purge..

Oh my! The OVLY player out there with a Dervish a year old and deleted it. =O
You guys should jsut buy more slots, Instead of deleting. Try playing a character thru without transfering anything. Its so tempting its hard.

I wish I could purge my account, and focus on one character. Still taking my derv slowly through the storyline of GW:EN. It's expensive to gear up all those heroes, but it's very nice to be able to play a given role when guildies ask for it. Cheers to you.

Wouldn't a more prudent action of just been to sell their stuff? I mean you said you're only playing one character now, so its not like you have any use for all the now "empty" character slots... Should of left them and every year you could login and grab a present. Not to mention you may find yourself wanting to play an ele/warrior/insert class here someday and will now have to start over.
But hey, its your account do what makes ya happy.

playing one character : P so lucky.
the only reason my chars got any wealth at all is because they all helped each other farm their stuff at certain times before those farms got nerfed.
